The story:
Welcome to Florida! As a native Florida girl, you'll see most of my designs (tangent alert: some of the other designs in my store are related to things like snow, cold weather, pizza, hot wings, airplanes and Buffalo and those are definitely inspired by my creative partner Jason... back on track) ... most of my designs are inspired by the things I love. The short list is: my dogs, the beach, camping, boating, bbq and America. I do also enjoy funny political shirts, which are most often inspired by things I see on the water. I think the giant flags boaters put on their boats in the summer in Florida basically predict all politically conservative style trends for the upcoming year.
Anyway, back to the beach shirt. This shirt is inspired by an old set of tiki bar shirts I saw at a little beach shop in Clearwater. The shop owner collected all sorts of vintage beach gear and this set specifically caught my eye. A lot of my designs include a distressed look, which I typically apply to shirts that use my favorite vintage color palette. This shirt is not an exception to this and I really love the way it came out.
My sense of humor comes through here in the "Beach Puhleez" ... and obvious "Bitch Please" joke that for reasons I can't seem to understand I feel the need to explain to every single person who visits my store. You are not the exception. I know you get it. I know you're probably a very smart person who doesn't need jokes about bitches and beaches explained to you since it's probably the most played out... if you don't believe me just search for things like "resting beach face" and "beach better have my money" and you'll see. Don't do that now, do that after you buy this shirt. I say this because, my beach please, bitch please, beach puhleez artwork was hand-drawn just for you.
